I splinter myself and have to extract it using a knife and spoon. No tweezers lying around. It isn't as if I pluck my eyebrows or armpits.
OUCH!
Well hope that when I get out of this on one piece (and hopefully win) I will get a complete first aid kit. Maybe that will be the first thing I order when I get that MacBook Pro care of (wink wink) tradeport.com.ph. See how I mentioned you guys so don't forget your offer.

how did you manage to get a splinter in your finger ?
Oh I used the knife to make a slight incision (is that how it is spelled?) and both to grip and pull the thing out.
And did some teeth gritting.
